What’s the best software to use for creating my own music?

I have the trial to adobe audition, but getting the feeling that it is more of an editing and mixing software.
I have the equipment to record my vocals and guitar into the computer, now I am unsure on what is the best software to use.
I basically need the software to be able to record my vocals and guitar, and then for me to be able to create drums, bass, strings etc to go over the top of my music.
The type of software where you can create the drums beat for beat-the bass string for string-a piano where you can make music from scratch note for note.
Price is not an issue, as I am very serious about it.
