I was trying to watch a guitar lesson but they started using terms like ‘Slide your hand up to a C major and down to a C minor’ and I blacked out for a second, so can someone explain it to me

they do put it into some tricky terms. i assume that it’s being played in bar/power chords. the only difference is that you remove the finger on the G string, this is what turns a Cmajor into a Cminor. of course there are also a variety of whats that you can play 1 chord. http://www.jamplay.com/guitar-chords/c-minor-guitar-chord.html gives you all the different ways you could play it. i’m guessing the person used Cmajor doing a bar chord on the 8th fret on the E string then doing a Cminor by doing a bar chord on the 3rd fret of the A string. they have made it confusing though. hope this helps.
