Can you be worst at pratically everything but still be talented/gifted at playing piano?

Because my teacher says that I’m talented/Gifted. I personally don’t believe it for I am worse at everything I do (well not at all–just especially at ball sports and sewing..).

People have their talents and assets in different areas. Some people are talented in just one area, and some are talented in many areas. Though, the ones that are talented in just one usually are better in that area than those who are talented in many. It sounds like you’re mainly talented in music (trust me, your teacher would know who’s good and who’s not). This could be a great asset to you; so, you should embrace and develop it (so long as you like it of coarse). Everybody has their “thing” that they like and are good at (their “passion,” I suppose you could say). As long as you are passionate about playing the piano and music in general, I think you should develop it as much as you possibly can! So, if anyone tries to make fun of you for not being that great in sports, you can just throw your musical talents in their faces, and they’ll be jealous. ;D
